SUMMER TIME ESSENTIAL OILING!!!

Summer Summer Summertime, time to sit back and unwind!!

Ooh wait.. Sorry!! I suddenly had Will Smith’s summertime jam stuck in my head! And…. breathing in the peppermint to regain my focus!

Summer is here, more or less!! That means sunshine, BBQs, camping, bugs and all things outdoors!

Here are some essential oil recipes to help you enjoy the summer!!

Insect Repellant Spray

2oz Spritzer Bottle

8 drops Terrashield

6 drops Melaleuca

4 drops Lavender

Fill bottle with distilled water (you can boil water and allow to cool)

Gently shake and spray!

If you do not have a spritzer bottle to make a bug spray, you can apply 1 drop of Terra Shield to your wrists. Dilute as recommended for children

Oooh no!!! A bug still got you and itch-city has set in!! Resist the itch and grab your itch stick!

Insect Stick: Soothing Skin Irritation

5ml Roll-on Bottle

5 drops Lavender

5 drops Melaleuca

5 drops Peppermint

Fill rest with FCO or your favorite carrier oil.

Gently shake before each use and apply to bite locations as needed

Sun Screen

2oz Spritzer Bottle

50 drops of  Lavender

50 drops of Helichrysum

Fill bottle with FCO, gently shake and voila

Sometimes the sun catches us by surprise and we did not get sunscreen on it time… Or let’s face it.. We didn’t 100% think about applying sunscreen!

After Sun Soothing Skin Spray

2oz Spritzer Bottle

1tbsp Aloe Vera
10 drops Lavender

10 drops Peppermint

Fill  the rest of bottle with distilled water (you can boil water and allow to cool) Gently shake and spray on burn location!

Sunshine Cool Down Spray

2oz Spritzer Bottle

4 drops Lemongrass
2 drops Eucalyptus
2 drops Peppermint

Fill bottle with distilled water (you can boil water and allow to cool)

Spritz as often as needed to cool down!!

Tip for Spritzer Bottles: Apply a small amount of carrier oil and rub along the spritzer tube, as it will draw the oils down into the bottle.

We get so busy in the summer and are just on the go go go!! When you need a little summer pick me up, add 1 drop wild orange and 1 drop peppermint to your wrists and inhale!! Dilute as recommended for kids!! Or if you want an on the go pick me up.. Here’s a recipe

On the Go Pick Me Up

5ml Roll-on Bottle

5 drops Peppermint

5 drops Wild Orange

Fill rest with FCO or your favorite carrier oil

Gently shake before each use and apply to the wrists or back of your neck

Refreshing Summer Water

1.5 cups Ice

1 cup Water

1-2 drops Lime

Berries of your Choice

Add to the blender and mix

Pour into a cup and enjoy!!!!

Ok and let’s face reality once again… Sometimes we tend to enjoy a few too many cocktails at those summer cookouts!!

Late Fun Shot

1 drop Digestzen

1 drop Frankincense

1 drop Lemon

1 drop Peppermint

Add to a shot glass, fill with water and shoot!

*add 1 drop of Digestzen to 1 tbsp FCO (or your fave carrier oil) and gently rub on your stomach

Or

Gently inhale some Digestzen
